I love to put together a collage of highlights from client sessions. It helps potential clients to see what our images look like together from a session as well as see different variations and poses I do during a sessions vs. posting only the best single picture from a session. I don't know about you but it would be very difficult to see how my session would look like when booking off a single photo.
This session was a combination of maternity and outdoors right at our studio location. The entire session was absolutely stunning. The final gallery was 154 images including black and white conversions of all. As you can see from the highlights, this family had a lot of diversity in their session.
As an add on for our newborn clients we offer Fresh 48 Sessions. This is an up and coming new way of photographing the newborn professionally. Fresh 48 sessions are sessions that take place the first 48 hours of the newborns life in the hospital. I absolutely love doing these, they are lifestyle in nature and really showcase what this special time looks like just after your little ones arrival. This session yielded about 328 images including black and whites. Not all sessions yield so many images some are more and some are less. I always give all images with the exception of redundant and out of focus images.
After the Fresh 48 Hospital Session the newborn session takes place. Newborn sessions are held within the first 7 - 14 days of life. Some factors I take in when scheduling the sessions are when the baby was born in relation to the actual due date, weight, circumcission, feeding, as well as any issues that took place during delivery. Our most popular newborn sessions is newborn with family portraits, these take an average of 3 - 4 hours. This showcases newborn by themselves, prop scenes and scenes with parents. Weather permitting, just like this session, we also can do outdoor scenes for your newborn sessions.
Another milestone in your little ones life is their First Birthday, I love to celebrate that with a beautiful cake smash scene that is a little like a party. Some scenes have balloons and pom poms, some are more simple and have some hand made items attached to the backdrop, depending on your style and vision we customize the scene to suit your little ones personality and your chosen color scheme. Besides the cake smash we do tubby time afterwards to clean them up, and a few formal portraits indoors and/or outdoors as well.
A huge milestone is high school graduation. Having a little one myself I know this can be an emotional time and savoring this special milestone is so important. We offer custom high school senior portrait sessions. These sessions take place at multiple locations we hand picked at various locations throughout WNY. We have a phone consultation we talk about styling, your seniors style, I ask for outfits to be sent to me and we then put together locations based on all this. These sessions are so much fun for the seniors and I love making them feel and look their best, this helps add confidence and boost self esteem.
We hold Family Portrait Session all year round. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. For the summer we love photographing at the beach. Our beach portraits showcase the most beautiful sunset skies, and even if there are no clouds to make for an interesting sunset the full sun makes for a gorgeous golden glow on the water. These portraits cannot be duplicated they are truly one of a kind. Spring we do a lot with flowers and parks at special locations, Fall we take advantage of fall leaves and gorgeous early sunsets. Winter portraits are one of a kind as well, as members of Buffalo Ski Club I often take clients to a few different spots for some clean snow and amazing views. All year round we can also do park portraits. Check out the highlights from these two beautiful sessions.
